Social Media Manager

We’re currently seeking a Social Media Manager with strong dance music knowledge and design skills. In this role, you will be in charge of managing the growth of Doppler’s online social channels, fostering community and managing it. The person who will fulfill this role should have a genuine interest in the local scene and want to see it flourish. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand values and goals.

  • Content Creation: Curate and create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that resonates with our audience.

  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our community, responding to comments, messages, and fostering discussions on our platforms.

  • Event Promotion: Promote our events, DJ sets, and radio shows through innovative and engaging social media campaigns.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to optimize our strategy.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, music, and culture to keep our content fresh and relevant.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our DJs, event organisers, and radio hosts to ensure cohesive and effective promotion across all channels.

WHO YOU SHOULD BE:

  • Passion: A deep love for underground dance music and an understanding of the culture surrounding it - including how design marries with this space

  • Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to craft engaging content that captures the essence of our brand

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in social media platforms, analytics tools, and graphic design/video editing software [Photoshop, Premier Pro & Capcut]

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to cover events and broadcasts.
