Position: Merch and E-Commerce Manager

We are a collection of forward-thinking dance music brands, including Beastwang, Wang Records, Doppler Studio & Radio, Daal & Bass, and Fadeout. Additionally working with partners Prozak and The 2 Funky Complex to elevate their brands. All of which are creating impactful experiences in the underground dance music scene. In addition to events and music, we are expanding into the world of merchandise and e-commerce, offering lifestyle products and high-quality merchandise for our brand’s communities.

We are looking for a creative, organised, and driven Merch and E-Commerce Manager to lead our merch strategy, oversee production, and grow our online sales channels. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for music, fashion, and community-driven brands.

Responsibilities

Merchandise Development and Production:

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and the team to create high-quality, on-brand merch that resonates with our audience.

  • Source sustainable and reliable suppliers for merchandise production.

  • Manage the production process, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.

E-Commerce Management:

  • Oversee the setup and optimization of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Squarespace, Wordpress).

  • Write product descriptions, coordinate photography, and ensure accurate listing of products.

  • Implement pricing strategies and seasonal promotions.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking when needed.

Marketing and Sales Growth:

  • Develop and execute e-commerce campaigns to drive sales and increase brand visibility.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotions with event and music releases.

  • Track and analyse sales data to inform strategies for growth.

  • Optimize SEO and implement paid advertising strategies to increase online visibility.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and returns processes.

  • Maintain exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.

  • Gather feedback from customers to improve products and services.

Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Provide regular performance reports on merch sales and e-commerce KPIs.

  • Work closely with the marketing team, events coordinators, and business owner to align strategies.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the music, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).

  • Understanding of social media marketing and its role in e-commerce.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also collaborating effectively with a team

  • Evidence of working with basic profit/loss sheets. .

Preferred:

  • Experience in merchandise production and sourcing.

  • Knowledge of design tools or ability to collaborate with designers.

  • Passion for underground dance music and an understanding of its culture and community.

  • Basic knowledge of Paid Ads including Meta and GA4
